Tuition and Fees

Wellness & Life Skills

The tuition at Northwoods is $8,500 per month. On the first day of the student’s enrollment, parents/financial sponsors are required to pay a prorated amount for remaining days in the month. Each month is then billed on the 1st thereafter.

Individual student expenses incurred are requested and invoiced.

Personal expenses may include, but are not limited to, new or replacement clothing, food needed for special dietary requirements, co-pays, medication refills, fees for high school and/or college classes and supplies..

Parents/financial sponsors are responsible for mental health and medical fees when needed, including medication management. life skills counseling is included in the monthly fees.

Northwoods does not bill insurance companies


Transitional is broken into 4 steps and tuition is reflective of the level of support required for successful progress through each step. Fees are listed below.

Step 1: $8,500 per month – Acquisition of employment and/or attendance in school

Step 2: $7,500 per month – Re-acquainting with phone and social media

Step 3: $5,500 per month – Independent living and budgeting

Step 4: $2,500 per month – Maintenance

Sober Living

Sober Living: $175 per week, does not include food, hygiene or personal items, or other basics.

Rooms are shared living, with public use kitchen  and facilities

Transportation can be established at a separate cost

Kenya Experience

Starting at $7500

Experience 2 weeks in the beauty that is Kenya, get outside of the fixed thinking of our world and shift your perspective.

Through this trip students gain improved understanding of true day to day survival, our first world problems, and shape a new view on what is important in their live

Family Outings

Family Outings are offered no sooner than the student’s completion of residential programming (No exceptions without administrative approval).

Our family meetings are offered after completion of the residential programming and consist of 2-3 family sessions.  We ensure that there is time for families to spend time together after the first meeting has occurred.

Fees for this service are $1000 for up to 2 individuals, all additional participants will incur a fee of $250 per meeting.
