Residential Life Skills
The tuition at Northwoods is $8,300 per month. On the first day of the student’s enrollment, parents/financial sponsors are required to pay a prorated amount for remaining days in the month. Each month is then billed on the 1st thereafter.
Individual student expenses incurred are requested and invoiced.
Personal expenses may include, but are not limited to, new or replacement clothing, food needed for special dietary requirements, co-pays, medication refills, fees for high school and/or college classes and supplies..
Parents/financial sponsors are responsible for specialty mental health and medical fees when needed, including medication management. Individual counseling is included in the monthly tuition.
Northwoods does not bill insurance companies directly, but we can provide cost breakdowns for financial sponsors to submit to your insurance carrier. More details provided upon request.
Family counseling is offered no sooner than the student’s completion of residential programming (No exceptions without administrative and clinical approval).
Our family sessions are offered after completion of the residential programming and consist of 2-3 family sessions. We ensure that there is time for families to spend time together after the first session has occurred.
Fees for this service are $1000 for up to 2 individuals, all additional participants will incur a fee of $250 per session.

Transitional programming is broken into 4 steps and tuition is reflective of the level of support required for successful progress through each step. The tuition is listed below.
Step 1: $8,300 per month – Acquisition of employment and/or attendance in school
Step 2: $8,300 per month – Re-acquainting with phone and social media
Step 3: $6,500 per month – Independent living and budgeting
Step 4: per service provided – Maintenance

The program is $16,500 for the 60 day duration, with a monthly charge of $8,300 per month for additional stay. This immersion provides a full experience living the life, exploring the culture and gaining a new perspective on what is important.
The cost for this 14-16-day program is of $8,250 above tuition; due to varying costs of flights, this amount may change; this includes airfare, travel insurance, a guided tour, and the necessities of the trip with the exception of required immunizations and passport costs.
