“Judge not, least you be judged.” —Matthew 7:1
What do you do at Northwoods?
I manage the day to day of Northwoods. I am in charge of the residential students and the transitional students. I keep the organizational side of Northwoods running smoothly. For example, I make sure that they keep to all of their appointments, get everywhere on time, and keep communication between the administration and counselors flowing.
What is your experience?
I have worked for Northwoods Ranch and Retreat since 2015. I have worked in a variety of industries from the food service industry, real estate, banking, marketing, sales, telecommunications and other fortune five hundred companies. I was also a college athlete and semi-professional baseball player which helped me to build team orientation, delegation, and leadership roles.
Why do you work at Northwoods?
I am a father of two beautiful girls. I have been through many ups and downs in life which allows me to bring a real world and direct approach that I feel these gentlemen need. In doing so I am able to connect, relate, share and advise students on life and it’s journey. It is rewarding and satisfying to help young men who are currently struggling. It is an incredible feeling be a part of the change and development of these young men. The bonds and relationships that are built are irreplaceable as their confidence and purpose grows. Ultimately watching students persevere through their struggles and know that you have made a difference in their lives is awesome.
