Tuition & Fees
The tuition at Northwoods Ranch & Retreat is $7,500 per month. On the first day of the student's enrollment, parents/financial sponsors are required to pay the first and last month's tuition and submit a credit/debit card with $500 to establish the student's personal expense fund.
Personal expenses may include, but are not limited to, new or replacement clothing, food needed for special dietary requirements, co-pays, medication refills, fees for high school and/or college classes and supplies.
Any personal expense money left over will be returned to parents upon student graduation.
Parents/financial sponsors are responsible for specialty mental health and medical fees when needed, including medication management. Individual counseling is included in the monthly tuition. Northwoods Ranch & Retreat does not bill insurance companies directly, but can provide cost breakdowns for financial sponsors to submit to their insurance carrier. A more detailed description of the residential service can be found here.
This tuition of $6,500 - $1,500 is determined by level of need for each student and the services offered. These step down roles are 30-day Intense Transitional (Step 1), Apartment Living (Steps 2, 3 & 4), and Supportive Maintenance. A more detailed description of the transitional service can be found here.
The cost varies depending on the trip; if trip is longer in length or entails more costly events (skiing, rafting, etc.). Average cost is $1,000 per individual for a 3-day, 2-night trip. A more detailed description of the family outings can be found here.
The cost for this 21-day program is a minimum of $5,000 above tuition, due to varying cost of flights this amount may change; this includes airfare, travel insurance, a guided tour and the necessities of the trip with the exception of required immunizations and passport costs.
